Description Robert Holak 2002-10-05 13:09:37 EDT
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3; Linux)

Description of problem:
When trying to add an applet to the panel from the kdetoys RPM (3.0.3-1), a handle is created for the applet but the applet never appears. Have tested with eyes, fifteen, weather, and worldwatch.
I have tested this on an athlon system and an intel PIII system to make sure it would reproduce across sytems, and neither one could launch the applets.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Try to add applet to panel from KDE panel popup menu
2.Handle appears in panel that should contain applet
3.Applet never appears

Actual Results: The applet does not show up in the handle in the panel.

Expected Results: The applet _should_ appear in the handle.

It's fixed in 3.0.5a, which will be released as errata soon.
