Created attachment 532658 [details] ~/.xession-errors for a failed session Description of problem: After upgrading from a working Fedora 15, when I try to log in to my Gnome session (Gnome 3 worked fine before) I get a message telling me that something went wrong, and I have to log out. XFCE works fine (using that one right now). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in to Gnome session 2. 3. Actual results: "Something went wrong," are asked to log out. Expected results: Additional info:
Strangely, my netbook works fine. Seems to be some kind of PEBKAC, need to didd into it.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. Fedora 16 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-02-12. Fedora 16 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
