reviewed in version Fedora-Installation_Guide-16-en-US-1.0-1 of Fedora 16 Installation Guide 18.3.1.2. Using a Fedora Installation DVD as a Software Repository Step 5 . Create a new repo file in the /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory. The name of the file is not important, as long as it ends in .repo. For example, dvd.repo is an obvious choice. [dvd] baseurl=file:///mnt/repo/Server enabled=1 gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-release [comment] - bug - the gpgkey file is wrong. Where it states the RPM-GPG-KEY-redhat-release, this should read fedora instead of redhat i.e. RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-release
I think the line should instead read: gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-$basearch
Removing myself for these bug components as I'm either no longer involved in that aspect of the project, or no longer care to watch this particular bug. Sorry if you are caught in a maelstrom of bug changes as a result!
Thanks Ian and Peter. I've replaced the GPG key with the one Peter has provided for the F17 version of the guide in commit 8b8c24ec726eb0e4635f50c161740ed13fb12602
