Select the System-Preferences-Keyboard Shortcuts 2. For each media key on the laptop: 1. Locate the appropriate action in the Keyboard Shortcuts window 2. Assign the media key to that action by following the onscreen directions 3. Press all media keys. Actual results: Mute microphone button can't be assigned to any Shortcut. When xev is used this button raise this event : KeyRelease event, serial 37, synthetic NO, window 0x4600001, root 0xc2, subw 0x0, time 12872612, (168,-12), root:(174,117), state 0x10, keycode 248 (keysym 0x0, NoSymbol), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes: XFilterEvent returns: False Expected results: Verify that all media keys can be mapped. All media keys do what they are mapped to do.
