Description Zdenek Kraus 2011-11-11 14:12:34 UTC
Description of problem:
in chapter 8 infiniband in caption of list of supported hardware with link to Knowledge Base article is mentioned RHEL 4 and RHEL 5. and RHEL 4 is not supported and RHEL 6 maybe missing. It should be generalized as latest RHEL.

OR consider remove of the 'knowledge base' paragraph completely.
referenced document 'knowledge base' https://access.redhat.com/kb/docs/DOC-22217 looks very old and outdated.

Actual results:
* The kernel driver and the user space driver for your Infiniband hardware must both be installed.
See the Knowledge Base article1
for a list of hardware supported on RHEL 4 and RHEL 5, and the
kernel and user space drivers associated with each.

Expected results:
### OMITTED ###
See the Knowledge Base article1
for a list of hardware supported on RHEL 5 and RHEL 6, and the
kernel and user space drivers associated with each.

## OR ##
See the Knowledge Base article1
for a list of hardware supported on RHEL, and the
kernel and user space drivers associated with each.

Additional info:
please checkout infiniband support on RHEL 6.

Removed as part of Messaging docs restructure, string no longer appears in Messaging Installation and Configuration Guide.
