Description of problem: when start the sistem with the kernel parameter "acpi=off" or "pci=noacpi" the system start and when i'am in the desktop if press any key the sistem freeze. i have this problem in all of kernels 3.x and i dont have it in kernels 2.6.x my sistem doesn't start without acpi=off or pci=noacpi becouse problems of bios and when compile my kernel and can start whitout acpi=off my usb ports doesn't work. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): all kernels >= 3.0 How reproducible: always when start systems (all gnu/linux) with kernel 3.x and acpi=off or pci=noapi Steps to Reproduce: 1. edit boot and add "acpi=off" or "pci=noacpi" and start 2. press any key and freeze 3. cry Actual results: system dont work Expected results: system work?
