Fortunately I can run windoze in a VM ;-) I stand corrected; doublecheck showed the post from Forest Bond still has a incorrect url: correct one (from upstream patch) is "local-bay.contacts.msn.com". I managed to solve the situation by telling libcurl to NOT change from POST to GET after receiven a 301 redirect when talking to contacts.msn.com.
