Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

rhev-h download linkhttps://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/channels/PackageList.do?cid=12058 is not correct, click the link, no RHEV-H package available.

Comment 1 Guohua Ouyang 2011-11-15 08:30:00 UTC
Mike,
it seems should behttps://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/channels/PackageList.do?cid=12059, could you confirm the link is correct?

Thanks,

No, the link is correct. The one in the documentation points to rhev-x86_64-h-6. The one you're looking at is rhev-x86_64-h-6-beta. The documentation should always point to production only, not beta.

Packages will be in the rhev-x86_64-h-6 when 6.2 goes GA.

Comment 4 Guohua Ouyang 2011-11-16 01:03:40 UTC
ok, and I will check the link during GA to ensure it works.

Hi Mike,

6.2 is GA already, but the link is still empty, is it been ok till RHEV 3.0 GA?

Comment 8 Mike Burns 2011-12-13 14:26:49 UTC
https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/channels/details.pxt?cid=12564

That's the right link for section 6.1 ^^

Comment 9 Mike Burns 2011-12-13 14:31:40 UTC
we could probably just say "Add the RHEV-H channel in rhn to your server and yum install rhev-hypervisor6"

Comment 10 Stephen Gordon 2011-12-16 15:06:01 UTC
Laura is the default assignee for this component now, but in the interests of expediency I will pick this up (it's her weekend!).

I agree that long term, the best bet is to do as Mike suggests in c#9, but for now I think to minimize translation impact we are better off to update the link.

Once I'm done I will clone for 6.3 so the more future proof change can be put in.

Comment 11 Stephen Gordon 2011-12-16 17:43:20 UTC
I've updated to point the link at https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/channels/PackageList.do?cid=12564, the link in c#8 is to the details page rather than the package listing itself (as linked to in previous versions).
