People seem to say in forums that Catalyst drivers do not support Fedora16 (without any further explanation of why). Since this is an important issue for people who are using their graphics cards for other tasks than just running a desktop this is a serious issue. (not to mention the fan noise is annoying with the open source driver unless one manually turns that down). I believe there should be a warning for people who are upgrading to fedora 16 and have radeon graphics cards at this point.
Catalyst is a proprietary driver, you need to talk to your vendor about compatibility issues with Fedora 16. Feel free to post a question to ask.fedoraproject.org to warn people but there is no "bug" we can fix here.
