The shotwell team just asked me to ensure that we have at least LibRaw 0.14.3 in F17.

0.14 has shared library support too. Is shotwell linking to it dynamically now? If not, then I can test with it.

shotwell build is currently broken with LibRaw-0.14.3 and I ran into this problem too in the rawhide build:
