Description of problem: In KDE settings / locale I have "Country" set to "United Kingdom" and "Preferred Languages" set to "British English". Only other "Available Language" is "American English". echo $LANG in a terminal shows it is set to en_GB.UTF-8 In thunderbird under Edit/Preferences/Composition/Spelling tab, Language is shown as English / Hong Kong. Clicking "Spelling" while in the composer shows English (HK) selected. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): thunderbird-7.0.1-1.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start thunderbird 2. Check language for spelling either in "Edit/Preferences/Composition/Spelling tab" or Click "Spelling" while in the composer 3. Actual results: Language is shown as English / Hong Kong Expected results: Language is shown as English / United Kingdom Additional info: In gedit or kate, "tools/check spelling" shows "Language" as "English (United Kingdom)"
Yup, this is broken. I'll look into it.
