Description of problem: Gnome3 does not respond to pressing the hardware power button on my Laptop since upgrade to Fedora 16 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login to Gnome3-Session 2. Press hardware Power-Button 3. Actual results: nothing happens Expected results: gnome action chooser should appear asking to power down, reboot or log out and starting an 60sec timer Additional info:
Found an solution on ask-fedora to: gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power button-power 'interactive' But then the question is, why did Gnome3 not respond to this key-press when the default 'suspend' action was active. Action 'suspend' seems to be broken then.
