Created attachment 534759 [details] Include egg-info when %rhel >= 6. Compilation fails on unpackaged egg-info file on rhel6. I've added a patch which fixes it (you can apply it on the f16 distgit branch).

It is not in EPEL6, but if someone wants to take the Fedora package and recompile it for RHEL6/CENTOS6 or any other RPM-based distro, it fails with the error I described in comment#0.
Cython is in EPEL6? $ repoquery --location Cython http://linuxsoft.cern.ch/epel/6/x86_64/Cython-0.14.1-3.el6.x86_64.rpm which is our local mirror? Steve.
