Red Hat Bugzilla 756671 0 unspecified VERIFIED RESTful interface doesn't return versioning info when Atom is used 2021-02-22 00:41:40 UTC

Internal Links: 756671

Description Lukáš Petrovický 2011-11-24 08:43:41 UTC
When REST interface is used to create a package from JAXB (and not from DRL), whatever you set in the setCheckinComment() method of the Package is ignored. The initial check-in comment is always "Initial".

Comment 1 Lukáš Petrovický 2011-11-24 08:44:28 UTC
When (if) you're fixing this, please tak a look at bug 756671 also - the check in information should be available even for Atom.

Comment 2 Lukáš Petrovický 2011-11-24 09:46:47 UTC
+ as an additional bonus, it would be nice to figure out how to handle the values that come from setVersion(). Right now, they are ignored as well - which is a logical and anticipated behavior. The questions is, whether or not at least write something to the server log that the attribute is being ignored.

Comment 3 Jervis Liu 2012-01-31 13:31:09 UTC
Fixed on both 5.3.x and master branch.

Comment 4 Ryan Zhang 2012-02-15 09:12:54 UTC
Please verify the issue on 5.3 ER4.

Comment 5 Lukáš Petrovický 2012-05-02 09:39:24 UTC
This issue remains unfixed - initial commit still has the "Initial" comment instead of one supplied by the user.

Comment 6 Jervis Liu 2012-05-10 10:43:06 UTC
Fixed

Comment 7 Ryan Zhang 2012-05-11 11:51:17 UTC
This fix has been committed to project branch which BRMS 5.3 used.
