Description Jordan Russell 2002-10-11 06:52:43 UTC
Description of problem:
If access to the sgi_fam service is blocked in /etc/hosts.deny via a line
similar to this:

   fam: ALL

then attempting to connect to the FAM port via telnet results in a flood of
messages in syslog:

Comment 1 Bill Nottingham 2002-12-03 20:56:07 UTC
Does this behave better with the errata xinetd?

Comment 2 Jordan Russell 2002-12-03 23:41:25 UTC
With xinetd-2.3.7-5 I can no longer reproduce the problem.

Comment 3 Bill Nottingham 2002-12-04 00:57:38 UTC
Cool. Closing as fixed.
