Description of problem: I found out the hard way that in order for Fedora automatic printer installer to work you first need to have gutenprint-cups package installed manually. Please enable Automatic Printer Installed scripts and gnome-packagekit to install this package automatically when needed. Thanks. Changing component to system-config-printer for diagnosis. Valent, I need more information to understand the cause. 1. What does rpm -q system-config-printer-udev say? 2. What does su -c 'lpinfo -l -v' say, with the printer connected?
