Description of problem:
when trying to install RH linux 8.0 after installing packages, when entering
"post install configuration" anaconda stops and restarts the computer after
dumping something like:
kernel BUG at inode.c:1051
invalid operand: 0000
cpu: 0
Cip: 0010:[<C0147948>] Not Tainted
EIP is at (2.4.18-14BOOT)
eax CF9d1820
process anaconda ...

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start instalation
2.wait until finishing copiing packages

	

Actual Results:  Computer returned the following error and rebooted :

kernel BUG at inode.c:1051
invalid operand: 0000
cpu: 0
Cip: 0010:[<C0147948>] Not Tainted
EIP is at (2.4.18-14BOOT)
eax CF9d1820
process anaconda ...

Expected Results:  Continue with post install configuration

Only occurs when boot loader is lilo, works fine with grub

Didn't work on lilo or Grub for me any other ideas?

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.

The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, 
and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in
