Comment 1 Lukáš Petrovický 2012-03-20 17:17:40 UTC
There's a request for a reproducer in the original JIRA.

Comment 2 JBoss JIRA Server 2012-04-13 19:27:44 UTC
Michael Anstis <michael.anstis> made a comment on jira GUVNOR-1654

Tested with 5.4.0.CR1 and cannot reproduce. Still waiting for advice from Jiri.

Comment 3 Toni Rikkola 2012-04-18 08:21:26 UTC
Changing the status to MODIFIED. We didn't fix anything because we can't reproduce.

Comment 4 Ryan Zhang 2012-04-23 07:40:00 UTC
Update status to ON_QA. Please verify them against ER6.

Comment 5 Jiri Locker 2012-04-23 13:07:56 UTC
Sorry for the late reply. The original issue reported by Toni seems to be fixed. Editing (and saving) a rule doesn't refresh the other tabs.

I don't know what I really managed to reproduce when I commented on 2011-11-29 in JIRA, but I tried some more complicated cases and this is the result:

When saving declarative models and enumerations all open rules in the same package are refreshed and so any unsaved changes are lost. It sounds logical that changes in model/enums need to be propagated somehow, so that they are reflected in guided editor. But the unsaved work shouldn't be just thrown away silently.

Any ideas?

(Setting back to ASSIGNED until we figure out how to resolve the described behavior.)

Comment 7 Toni Rikkola 2012-06-03 09:41:01 UTC
I found this from ER8. I was editing a model, had an enum editor with some unsaved changed open. Save in model editor resets the enum editor.
