Description Evgeniy Polyakov 2011-12-01 15:26:22 UTC
Description of problem:

Wacom Intuous4 tablet is detected, but neither pressure sensing, nor eraser work
Eraser mirrors behaviour of stylus, i.e. it is not possible to assign different actions to stylus and eraser.
Also, wacom setup utility when setting different pressure levels does not end up with different actions, i.e. line thickness is always the same in Gimp and Mypaint

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

both 0.11 and 0.12

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plugin wacom tablet
2. Setup gimp/mypaint
3. Watch that pressure does not work

Actual results:

No pressure

Expected results:

Pressure levels are expected to be changed

Comment 1 Peter Hutterer 2012-01-16 04:21:07 UTC
did you assign the device as input device in GIMP?

what does xinput test "device name" show when you're pressing, does the third axis change at all?

Comment 2 Evgeniy Polyakov 2012-01-19 22:40:48 UTC
Yes, I turned on wacom pen as input device in gimp.

But now things seems to work fine - I rebooted system several times during update and it looks like things got fixed
I will reopen this bug if problem arises
