Description jas 2011-12-01 20:36:10 UTC
Description of problem:

glibc limits max members in unix group to 126 - didn't used to.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

glibc-2.12-1.25.el6_1.3.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a unix group with more than 126 members
2. Use "groups <user in group>" -- user won't be in group
3. Ensure number of users in group is 126.
4. Use "groups <user in group>" - user will be in group.

Expected results:

significantly higher than 126 user limit per group.

Additional info:

Try with glibc glibc-2.12-1.7.el6.x86_64 (original RHEL6 glibc) - does not have the problem which is what leads me to believe it's a bug.
