Description Gary Denne 2011-12-06 23:47:11 UTC
Hi Matt,

When searching in Skynet, I'm hitting workflow navigation issues and need some help. Maybe I'm not searching in the correct Skynet way.

If I search based on my name as the assigned writer, gdenne, I get a search results page of about 15 topics. Then, if I click View, Skynet opens that topic up for me. Once I'm done with viewing or editing that topic, I click Done, and Skynet takes me back to that *single* topic in the search list. Here's where I'm not getting the current functionality. Shouldn't it return me to the list of original search results? When it returns me to the single topic screen, I cannot do anything. I have to start a new search all over again. I have to hit reset. I think a more logical workflow would be...:

1. Search
2. View topic from search results.
3. Done with topic.
4. Returned back to original search results to continue working with other topics in that search.

Currently, Skynet seems only able to perform one topic view/edit per search, and it seems like a roundabout workflow? Unless I'm not getting a part of the search functionality? If so, would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Ta,

Gary

Use the "View New Window" option. That will leave the original search window open, and open up the topic in a new window.
