BDB doesn't support extended attributes currently. BDB translator should
accept extended attribute calls and store them as records as well.

Second Life prefers AFR of every three BDB volumes. Most of the access
is through HTTP. They like our web embeddable feature. They also mentioned
webdav interface to GlusterFS as a later requirement.

Before you start on this, let me know about timelines.

AB,
I still believe supporting extended attribute as separate layer will
help us to support extended attribute over NFS, or any other filesystem.
Supporting it inside BDB will have limited benefits and will complicate
BDB more.
