Description Raghavendra G 2009-09-01 04:18:09 UTC
During the cache validation as part of readv, if the file is not already opened, quick read tries to open the file and then sends a fstat on the fd opened. Hence it makes no sense to continue with validation process once open has failed.

PATCH: http://patches.gluster.com/patch/1193 in master (performance/quick-read: if open fails during cache validation, don't continue validation process.)
