Description Raghavendra Bhat 2010-03-10 09:07:58 UTC
The repliacate translator shows asymmetric behavior. Two servers are started on client03 and client04 respectively with quota translator loaded with directory limit of 5gb on each. Client process is started in client02. When multiple files are being created in a directory on the mount point, then when no disk space available appears(5 GB limit on export directories) then if the process is stopped by pressing 'Ctrl + C' and the directory is removed, then checking the export directories shows that it is removed in only first server(i.e. client03), but not in another server. If first server is brought down and "ls" is done. The directories are visible again. Now bringing up the first server and doing "ls", we cannot see the directories.

Here one of the export directories is a glusterfs mount point.
