This is what we can see in client volfile after enabling quota:

...
volume pop-quota
    type features/quota
    option quota on
    subvolumes pop-client-0
end-volume
...

That's bad because quota xlator doesn't have a "quota" option. Please make the earlier discussed volgen adjustments to fix it (including deletion of obsolete quota related entries from the volume option map.

not seen on volumes created over qa-12 release
