After installing the rpms, built from on a 32-bit system using rpmbuild.
glusterd is not starting.

Since glusterfs.spec  an entry  

#update  /etc/ld.so.conf.d
echo "%{_prefix}/lib64" > /etc/ld.so.conf.d/glusterfs.conf

which updates as "/opt/glusterfs/<glfs-version>/lib64" instead of /opt/glusterfs/<glfs-version>/lib" for a 32-bit machine.
