Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to Windows->preferences->C/C++->Code Templates->New->Insert Variables
2. nothing happens. 
3. 

Expected Results:
A yellow box is supposed to pop up with the available variables from which a
selection can be made. This works on the F3 CDT build from eclipse.org.

The following is output to the terminal:

Unhandled exception caught in event loop.
Reason:
java.lang.NullPointerException

Fixed. Verified against Nov 14th rpm build.
