On the client, the statistics collected by io-stats can be dumped using:
setfattr -n glusterfs.io-stat-dump -v <dump-file> <mount-point>

But this does not give the same output as "gluster volume profile <volname> info" which is a lot more useful (with the average times etc.)

Usability bug:

The setfattr results in an "Operation not permitted" error. This can be avoided.
