Description of problem: Some days ago, gtk2, gtk2-devel and gtk2-immodule-xim were updated and my gtk2 terminals were broken. The Alt + Backspace sortcut, which delete backward word by word a command line didn't work anymore. So, Guake and Terminator are broken and gnome-terminal works fine (gtk3). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.24.8-2.fc16 How reproducible: Install this version of packages and try the Alt + Backspace shortcut in a gtk2 terminal. Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum update 2. launch Terminator or Guake 3. type two or three words in the terminal 4. try the Alt + Backspace shortcut Actual results: The command line will be deleted letter by letter Expected results: The command line will be deleted word by word Additional info:
