Description of problem:
I search on a number of topics. 
I select one, choose 'Edit and tag new window'.
Occasionally, the topic XML flashes, but then disappears and the field is empty.

This is similar to Bug 761310 but is different because it's when reading the topic. I can see the XML briefly, but then it seems to repaint and it's gone.

To clarify, the Topic XML is there. It appears briefly. It just disappears.
Also, it seems to be only certain topics. For example, this always happens to topics 5098 and 5576. Others work fine.
