Description of problem: ctrl-d does not double player in size in winamp classic interface Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): audacious-3.0.4-1.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: upgrade to Fedora 16 Steps to Reproduce: 1. start audacious 2. switch to classic interface 3. press ctrl-d Actual results: nothing happens Expected results: player doubles in size for easier visibility Additional info: This worked fine in Fedora 15.
It is even more bizarre: When doubleclicking an MP3 audacious starts small and ctrl-D does not work. When doubleclicking a FLAC audacious starts big and ctrl-D does work.
The "Scale" mode (Ctrl+D) has been removed in Audacious 3.0 with the port to Gtk+ 3. You won't manage to find it in the menu either. > When doubleclicking a FLAC audacious starts big and ctrl-D does work. Are you sure that's Audacious then?
Why then close the bug if I did not answer? How would I tell if it is not audacious? I did not write the program nor study the code. I just noticed the behaviour changed after upgrading to F16. Then I noticed the difference between MP3's and FLAC. I do not know how the GUI part of the program interacts with the different file formats, so please act like you do know.
> The "Scale" mode (Ctrl+D) has been removed in Audacious 3.0 with the port to Gtk+ 3. You won't manage to find it in the menu either. Oh, that is progress. Thanks for documenting this, I could have avoided opening a bug about the progress.
Why is this done when resolutions go up all the time? Usability goes down as versions of components go up. And we blame it on gtk3 now. What about common sense for a change? Please fix! We need the double size as I explained.
You can either try to convince the Audacious developers to bring back the Scale mode or contribute the necessary work yourself. Please do not reopen this ticket. Thank you!
