Description of problem: iscsi.service is enabled by default and fails during start on Fedora 16, causing workstation not to finish the init process related to systemd. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): [root@beast init.d]# rpm -qf /etc/rc.d/init.d/iscsid iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.872-14.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. systemctl start iscsi.service 2. 3. Actual results: [root@beast jeos]# systemctl start iscsi.service Job failed. See system logs and 'systemctl status' for details. [root@beast jeos]# Dec 13 11:05:02 beast systemd[1]: iscsi.service: control process exited, code=exited status=3 Expected results: should start or be disabled by default Additional info: Note I didn't install iscsi-initiator-utils and wouldn't expect it to default init scripts to enabled
This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. Fedora 16 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-02-12. Fedora 16 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
