Description of problem: fc15 works with nouveau driver running gnome shell. But all new 2.6.41.x kernels hangs at the moment gdm should start. Last working kernel is 2.6.40.8-4.fc15.x86_64 Hardware nvidia geForce 8400GS. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot 2.6.41.x kernels 2. 3. Actual results: hangs before gdm is started Expected results: Additional info: i am able to ssh connect to this pc. (and reboot old kernel) Also installing fc16 fails to use nouveau driver - it end with vesa and fallback mode - although installing fc15 was smooth.
