This bug is reported upstream already, at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=665253 so I'll just copy from there: David Sterratt [reporter] 2011-11-30 23:53:31 UTC I would like to create a folder on an IMAP server. When I bring up the "New Folder..." dialogue, neither of my two IMAP servers appear as places to put folders. I therefore can't create folders on IMAP servers using evolution. There don't seem to be any diagnostic messages when I run evolution from a shell. This bug has been reported on launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/878460 I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneric). [reply] [-] Comment 1 André Klapper [Evolution developer] 2011-12-01 07:37:14 UTC As reported downstream for some people it works with IMAP+ at least. [reply] [-] Comment 2 Nils Philippsen [developer] 2011-12-15 09:25:06 UTC I can confirm that this bug exists on Fedora 16, with evolution-3.2.2-1.fc16.x86_64 and two IMAP servers (haven't checked IMAP+ yet).
Thanks for a bug report, but as seen the bug is not fedora specific, thus better deal with it upstream.
Yeah, just put that here so other people may find it.
Yup, and it works :)
