Is there an apache setup with chrony?

> Is there an apache setup with chrony?

Nope, im running the default setup with some virtual hosts. I thought the bug is, that apache tries to access /var/lib/chrony

Im very new to Fedora and SELinux and i wasnt sure about reporting selinux alerts...

So, if this behavior is ok, you can close this report.

Comment 4 Miroslav Grepl 2012-03-15 15:12:51 UTC
Any idea what this is?

Comment 5 Miroslav Lichvar 2012-03-15 15:23:46 UTC
I'm not sure why would apache want to look in that directory, there are only the system clock and RTC drift values stored.

Comment 6 Miroslav Grepl 2012-03-15 15:30:22 UTC
ushi,
are you still getting this?

Comment 7 Daniel Walsh 2012-03-16 09:17:23 UTC
Is chrony a mount point?

Comment 9 Fedora End Of Life 2013-01-16 15:56:26 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '16'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 16's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 16 is end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" and open it against that version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:

Comment 11 Miroslav Lichvar 2013-01-22 16:29:53 UTC
This still seems to be happening, see bug #902638.

I'm reassinging to the httpd component as chrony doesn't seem to do anything here beside owning /var/lib/chrony.

Comment 12 Joe Orton 2013-02-04 16:02:46 UTC
There's no reason for httpd to access /var/lib/chrony. Perhaps this is a CGI script, or PHP script, or something, which is trying. It will require a custom over-ride in any case.
