Description of problem: The "workspace switcher" in Gnome fallback mode doesn't retain the "Number of workspaces" setting across sessions. It is always reset to "4". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-panel-3.2.1-2.fc16 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change "Number of workspaces" setting to "1" 2. Logout 3. Additional info: The only reason I care about this is that the workspace switcher doesn't reflect the setting in CompizConfig and I can work around this bug. The compiz "workspaces" can be navigated through the compiz key and mouse bindings, but they only show up in the first workspace of the workspace switcher - that is, unless the number of workspaces is set to "1".

Fedora 16 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-02-12. Fedora 16 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
