Description of problem:
Dramatically decrease perfomance (huge amount disk i/o operations) when allocation memory above 70%

In my system not used swap file.
Memory size: 2Gb
Problem begin's when allocation memory 1.4 - 1.5Gb

don't know about fedora 16 I've been sitting on Fedora 17 and always feel lockup with input output.
