Scenario:
1. Create new Storage Domain, it does not appear in the Storage main tab, however it appears in the System tree and in the Data Center's Storage sub tab.

2. When the newly created Storage Domain does not appear in the Storage main tab:
a. Click on the storage sub-tree under the "System tree -> your storage's Data center", it will filter the tabs and will show only the Storage main tab with the aforementioned Storage Domain.
b. Select you storage in the Storage main tab.
c. Click on System, it will double the Storage Domain entry in the Storage Main tab
