Description of problem: Please see attached pm-utils-bugreport-info.txt. Have been unable to resume for a while, maybe 2 or 3 months and this system is updated a few times a week. It is presently failing at the 'processors' debug test. Suspend appears to complete normally but resuming fails without posting anything to /var/log/pm-suspend.log. The "platform" debug test always resumes fine. dmesg | grep "hash matches" does not bring up a suspect driver. This is a Dell Latitude E6510 running 3.1.6.-1.fc16.x86_64 Core i7 740 QM 1.73 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-3.1.5-2.fc16 kernel-3.1.5-6.fc16 kernel-3.1.6-1.fc16 pm-utils-1.4.1-12.fc16 package hal is not installed package hal-info is not installed gnome-power-manager-3.2.1-1.fc16 package vbetool is not installed package radeontool is not installed hdparm-9.36-2.fc15 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. echo processors > /sys/power/pm_test 2. echo reboot > /sys/power/disk 3. echo disk > /sys/power/state Actual results: Blank screen, hung system, no capslock toggle on resume Expected results: Resume Additional info:

Hello, has this bug been looked at yet? Any additional info I can provide? Is there any advice for me to achieve some form of hibernate or suspend? Thank you for your time,
Problem solved with a software update yesterday. Not 100% sure what package got fixed, I assume pm-utils. kernel-3.1.5-6.fc16 kernel-3.1.6-1.fc16 kernel-3.1.7-1.fc16 pm-utils-1.4.1-12.fc16 package hal is not installed package hal-info is not installed gnome-power-manager-3.2.1-1.fc16 package vbetool is not installed package radeontool is not installed hdparm-9.36-2.fc15
