Description of problem: Without gtk-sharp2-devel package MonoDevelop can't compile Gtk# applications. But this package do not installed automatically with monodevelop package. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. yum install monodevelop 2. open MonoDevelop, create new Gtk# application 3. "Project ‘HelloWorld’ has different ToolsVersion than the containing solution" message box will be displayed 4. Gtk namespace related errors when compiling solution(F5 key) Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: To fix it: 1. yum install gtk-sharp2-devel 2. create new project
Is this a bug though? Until Fedora's RPM supports a 'recommend' field or something similar, it'd seem like we should not impose a dependency on people who want to build non-GTK projects. But a PackageKit integration a la how Gstreamer plugins and printer drivers are automatically installed on demand would be great. Should we suggest this to upstream?
