Description of problem: Black screen occurs during installing RHEL6.2 with OB VGA. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): SYSTEM SN OR ID: NA16605341 Form Factor: Planar Type: IS77M Planar Level: Rev:0.3A Planar SN: 11S11200466UUMH51AV114 BIOS Level: 9SKT14A Monitor: Viewsonic VP201s Video Adapter: Onboard Audio Adapter: Onboard PCI-Express 16X: Video BIOS: PCI-Express 1X: PCI1 Slot : PCI2 Slot : Keyboard: USB Keyboard Mouse: USB Mouse CPU : INTEL Ivy Bridge C-0 8MB 4c LGA 2.2GHz STD 95W GT2 ES2 DIMM 1 : Samsung PC3-12800E 2GB How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1: Connect Display via onboard VGA. 2: Connect power core then power on. 3: Press "F12" to choose boot from ODD with RHEL6.2 RC install CD in it. 4: Choose "Install or upgrade an existing system" to install RHEL6.2. You can observe that black screen after loading some files. Hang check: 0. Boot with 'nomodeset' on the kernel command line once, to discover the IP address of the machine after it boots. Then reboot without 'nomodeset' but with 'drm.debug=0x4', ssh into the affected machine, and attach the dmesg output to this bug.
