Can you explain your issue more in detail? * Is the version "5.5-3" correct? * What does "run screensaver with several windows open" "use activities screensaver icon/window" mean? - What did you actually do (like executing commands on the terminal or doing some GUI procedure like "click this icon") to "run screensaver" ? (and what does this "screensaver" mean ?) Also what "several windows" did you open? - What "screensaver icon/window" do you refer to here? * When "what application" you open the error message arises? And would you write the actual error messages? * What commands actually did you do to "stop" to allow xscreensaver to run properly? * What application shows "problem with...." messages and when?
