Trying to configure a Terratec T3 dvb-t dongle. Package: gnome-dvb-daemon-0.2.7-1.fc16 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne)
Booted up Fedora 16 with PCTV T2 290e USB stick plugged in. Logged in as myself. Opened DVB Control Centre. Clicked "Edit > Preferences". Clicked on my DVB adapter (DVB-T/T2). Clicked "Continue". 1. Enable the DVB plugin in Totem 2. Go to Digital TV settings 3. Select the device (in my case AverMedia Volar Black HD -Afatech chip) 4. Start the configuration assistant. 5. Step 2 makes the daemon fail. The wizard is still there and is workable, but won't find any channels. It occurs every time.
