Description of problem:
I tried to install fedora 16 on my pc which already had xp and fedora 16, in first trial i chosen "replace existing layout" and f16 installed successfully. but i could not see win xp in boot menu. so i followed following steps:
1. removed grub using dd command.( i could successfully see only  windows after that)
2. deleted linux partition to create empty space.
3. tried to install fedora 16, but installer quit after creating partitions, means changes could not be written to disk.

How reproducible:
can be reproduced by trying to install in empty space available.

1.create empty space.
2.choose "create custom layout" when promped.

Please switch to tty2 (ctrl-alt-f2) and attach the logs from /tmp/*log to this bug as individual plain/text files.

Dear team,
i completed my fedora 16 installation by:
1.installed fedora12.
2. installed fedora16 choosing option "replace existing linux partition"
I in to put provide log i need to repeat the earlier exercise again.Hopefully i can do that on sunday.but how will i access that log file. i never did that. and my system will be unstable at that time.
