udisks doesn't display any windows (it doesn't even link against any X libraries), so you are filing it against the wrong component. You most likely need to file a bug against whatever window manager you are using instead. Closing as NOTABUG.

should be gnome-disk-utility sorry for confusion

No, please read comment 2. File it against your window manager.

hmm.. better approach than close this bug is find out what is responsible for those jumps, right? I don't see any obvious reason for closing it rather than change component to the right one..

so window manager is metacity I suppose.. but really, are you 100% sure that this cannot be caused by some redraw, or so in gnome-disk-utility? Gnome-disk-utility is GUI app. Why you think it's metacity issue? it happens every time device with multiple partition is selected.. not just my laptops HDD. Are you sure this cannot be caused by some redraw of custom widget or so? not sure where this issue comes from..

thanks,
Vladimir

Yes, it would be good to research what is causing the issue that you see and properly drill down to the component(s) responsible but the RHEL Bugzilla is just not the right place to do this [1]. I already said that you should try to investigate window managers, for example you could try if this only happens with metacity or if it also happens with other window managers (for example, twm).

Please stop reopening this bug.

[1] : upstream bugzilla or Fedora bugzilla might be a better place to get help but it's still not considering good form to just open a bug against some random component without doing any homework

reopening again as you were right this is not happening with compiz.. so it may be metacity issue

metacity-2.28.0-20.el6.x86_64
