Description of problem: the mount takes long to fail. The error message reads: mount error 5 = Input/output error Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ceph-0.37-1.fc16.x86_64 How reproducible: Just configure ceph and try to mount the volume Steps to Reproduce: 1. mkcephfs 2. service start -a ceph 3. mount -t ceph 10.0.240.14:6789:/ /mnt/test -vv Actual results: mount error 5 = Input/output error Expected results: mount successful... ceph-0.39-1.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/ceph-0.39-1.fc16
Package ceph-0.39-1.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing ceph-0.39-1.fc16' as soon as you are able to. errr... still can't mount it. And, btw, 0.40 got out in the mean time. Here's a SRPM ;)
