Description Jiri Pechanec 2007-10-31 09:40:54 UTC

project_key: SOA

When using all enumerated components the ESB frequently fails with insufficient PermGen space. The PermGen size should be explicitly specified in the startup script and set to big enough value.

Comment 1 Jiri Pechanec 2007-11-05 14:17:42 UTC
We have long term problems with Permgen space if we are running our test suite that repeatedly deploys/undeploys ESB applications. The problems persists on all builds and even on trunk.

We were able to run ESB even over weekend with this settings
JAVA_OPTS="-Xms1503m -Xmx1503m -XX:PermSize=1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=1024m

Under default settings we are facing problems even after 10 re-deployments

Comment 2 trev 2008-01-24 13:56:13 UTC
I've changed the defaults values to be this for ease of QA, the cause of the permgen problem needs to be investigated though.
