Description Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2007-12-06 23:04:09 UTC
Date of First Response: 2007-12-06 20:47:22
project_key: SOA

When hitting localhost:8080 I see a strange icon next to the URL.

I think this file is located here:

./server/production/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico
./server/all/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico
./server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico

Moreover, this icon looks fine for the default config, but whe I start the default config I still see the strange one.

Comment 1 Len DiMaggio 2007-12-07 01:47:22 UTC
What is this (icon) meant to be?

Comment 3 Mike Brock 2007-12-12 00:54:08 UTC
I can't reproduce this problem.

Comment 4 Jiri Pechanec 2007-12-20 09:29:17 UTC
Same for me with Opera/Firefox - soa-4.2.0.IR9.zip

Comment 5 Mark Little 2007-12-21 21:09:04 UTC
Please specify operating system version etc. so Mike to try to duplicate.

Comment 6 Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2007-12-27 14:00:31 UTC
I can't reproduce it with beta1 (Fedora 6, Firefox 1.5.0)

Comment 7 Mark Little 2007-12-28 12:38:16 UTC
Thanks. So can we close this ;-)?

Comment 10 Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2007-12-29 09:59:35 UTC
The icon files for all and production configs are still broken in beta1. However they are now displayed fine in firefox, but maybe some caching in firefox is going on, so this jira still needs to be fixed.

Comment 11 Mark Little 2007-12-30 14:43:53 UTC
OK, so we're back to my request of the 21st of December:

"Please specify operating system version etc. so Mike to try to duplicate."

And you see the icon, Len?

Comment 14 Len DiMaggio 2008-01-08 00:42:37 UTC

Comment 20 Jiri Pechanec 2008-01-09 09:50:12 UTC
I have attached ico files from zip packages and the one that I obtained via wget (no caching in place). The files are different so it looks like web server misconfiguration.

Comment 21 Jaroslaw Kijanowski 2008-01-09 11:31:58 UTC
Both attached icons look the same for me - bad, but caching may be going on on my side.

Anyway, why don't we just copy the favicon from the default config, which is the one with colored balls, to the prod and all config?

Comment 22 trev 2008-01-09 15:00:04 UTC
suspect that a copy (with a filterset) is the problem - ant filtersets can corrupt binary files

Comment 23 trev 2008-01-09 16:07:23 UTC
ant filterset was corrupting. All now have the same checksum as the original
