Date of First Response: 2007-12-06 20:47:22 project_key: SOA When hitting localhost:8080 I see a strange icon next to the URL. I think this file is located here: ./server/production/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico ./server/all/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico ./server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico Moreover, this icon looks fine for the default config, but whe I start the default config I still see the strange one.
What is this (icon) meant to be?

I can't reproduce this problem.
Same for me with Opera/Firefox - soa-4.2.0.IR9.zip
Please specify operating system version etc. so Mike to try to duplicate.
I can't reproduce it with beta1 (Fedora 6, Firefox 1.5.0)
Thanks. So can we close this ;-)?

The icon files for all and production configs are still broken in beta1. However they are now displayed fine in firefox, but maybe some caching in firefox is going on, so this jira still needs to be fixed.
OK, so we're back to my request of the 21st of December: "Please specify operating system version etc. so Mike to try to duplicate."
The details on my system are: OS: Linux 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5 #1 SMP Wed Nov 14 10:37:33 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux RHEL5 JVM: java version "1.5.0_13" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_13-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_13-b05, mixed mode) Firefox: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.12) Gecko/20071122 Red Hat/1.5.0.12-7.el5 Firefox/1.5.0.12
And you see the icon, Len?
Here's a screeshot. - with the strange icon circled.

Icon obtained via wget

Icon from package zip
Attachment: Added: favicon.ico
I have attached ico files from zip packages and the one that I obtained via wget (no caching in place). The files are different so it looks like web server misconfiguration.
Both attached icons look the same for me - bad, but caching may be going on on my side. Anyway, why don't we just copy the favicon from the default config, which is the one with colored balls, to the prod and all config?
suspect that a copy (with a filterset) is the problem - ant filtersets can corrupt binary files
ant filterset was corrupting. All now have the same checksum as the original find . -name favicon.ico -exec md5sum {} \; 799f70b71314a7508326d1d2f68f7519 ./esb/checkout/product/build/jbossesb-server-4.2.1GA/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico 799f70b71314a7508326d1d2f68f7519 ./esb/eap-based/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico 799f70b71314a7508326d1d2f68f7519 ./esb/work/standalone-version/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico 799f70b71314a7508326d1d2f68f7519 ./eap/work/AS-version/jboss-eap-4.3/jboss-as/server/all/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico 799f70b71314a7508326d1d2f68f7519 ./eap/work/AS-version/jboss-eap-4.3/jboss-as/server/production/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico 799f70b71314a7508326d1d2f68f7519 ./eap/work/AS-version/jboss-eap-4.3/jboss-as/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/favicon.ico
