Attached is my server.log for Beta1 jboss-soa-p.4.2.0 (embedded)
Lines 1 through 29,659 relate to the boot up of the server via run.bat
Lines beyond 29,660 relate to my deployment of helloworld (ant deploy) and the attempt to run
http://localhost:8080/jbossesb
This url requires login and returns the following:
"No records found in database. "

The server.log shows a failure for deployment of the helloworld quickstart starting at line 29660.   There is no error in the log related to the fact that the console won't run:
http://localhost:8080/jbossesb

I can confirm that this runs on Windows XP SP2 and Mac OS 10.4.11.

Burr, I still couldn't reproduce this issue, even using windows2003 server and beta1
