pdf checked in

Comment 6 Jehudi Castro Sierra 2009-06-16 08:38:24 UTC
Although BEA Support was dropped, BEA JRockit JDK still listed as Supported Java Virtual Machine (page 2)

Comment 7 Dana Mison 2009-06-17 07:21:00 UTC
removed BEA from list & checked in updated PDF

Comment 8 Len DiMaggio 2009-06-17 13:28:25 UTC
Back to QE for final review/verifcation

Comment 9 Jehudi Castro Sierra 2009-06-17 14:34:32 UTC
the document states "At this time there are no migration scripts included for PostgreSQL databases." (Page 7, Section 2.1.1)
but 'jboss-soa-p.4.2.0/jboss-as/tools/schema/postgresql/' does exist so it seems like the scripts are there

Comment 10 Jehudi Castro Sierra 2009-06-17 14:47:00 UTC
why the pages 12,14 and 16 are completely empty? is the standard for end of a section? why is not that way between Chapter 1. and Chapter 2 for example?

Comment 11 Dana Mison 2009-06-18 07:35:06 UTC
The PDFs are designed for double-sided printing as per a book. New chapters always start on the front of the page. If the previous chapter ends on the front of a page then the back of that page will be blank. If you set your PDF viewer to "dual or 2 page view" it is a bit clearer.

Comment 12 Dana Mison 2009-06-18 09:12:37 UTC
yes Page 7, Section 2.1.1 is out of date. Updated content here to refer to the "Switching Databases" section of the Administrators guide for detailed instructions.

Comment 13 Len DiMaggio 2009-06-18 12:11:12 UTC
Hey Darrin - I just looked here: https://svn.devel.redhat.com/repos/jboss-soa/branches/4.2.0/build-tools/docs/SOA_Getting_Started_Guide.pdf

And the out of date information is still there - can you update it ASAP - this should be the last edit needed for any of the 4.2 CP04 docs.

• At this time there are no migration scripts included for PostgreSQL databases.
• The ESB Management Console is a tech preview at this time.

Comment 14 trev 2009-06-19 14:40:59 UTC
Moved to CP05 as only minor changes needed, asked Darrin to update the on line docs

Comment 15 Dana Mison 2010-01-06 00:37:41 UTC
This has been updated in the CP04 online docs & will be present in CP06
